Our MAG Artful Touch, held the 3rd Wednesday of each month, offer a variety of 2 hour classes on a myriad of subjects.  As a MAG member you receive a reduced price for these informative, social, and just plain fun learning experiences.  The ability to prepay with PAYPAL on our website assures your place in the class.

During our quarterly Member Meetings, we offer a demonstration or member interaction opportunity.  These meetings also give members a chance to meet fellow artists and give feedback and/or suggestions to the board.

We offer at least two workshop opportunities with well known local/regional/nationally recognized artists. As a MAG member your workshop fee is reduced.

We strive to be an open, welcoming organization dedicated to helping each artist grow.

Historical Overview

Milton Arts Guild began in 2005 with a group of about 10 artists from the Milton, Delaware are.  Seeing a new a promote arts in the community, they held their frist outdoor art show in the summer of 2005.  As the membership grew, so did the outdoor venue.  Each year artists could be found displaying and painting twice a year thoughtout the streets of Milton.

In 2010, the first annual Winter Reception and Show premiered at the Milton Firehall.

Members began meeting monthly in the WBOC Building until 2014.  Then a new home was found in 2014 at 310 Walnut Street in Milton.  MAG applied for their non-profit status in 2014 and recieved their first start up grant from Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) in 2015.

MAG's dedication to bringing arts into the community has grown to an 80+ membership, monthly classes, workshops with nationally and regionally recognized artists, and ten (10) exhibitions yearly.  These include 2 judged exhibitions with cash awards, one student exhibition highlighting Cape Henlopen high school artists also with cash awards, a fundraising silent auction exhibition, and at the holiday season participation in the Holly Days Festival presented by the Milton Women's Club.

We are proud to sponsor an art scholarship program for the Cape Henlopen High School.  We awarded our first scholarship to deserving seniors in 2015.
