I started drawing in grade school (1960s) and have not stopped since. Moving forward through school, my ambition and interests always revolved around design and drawing. In High School I had the opportunity to draw boats, specifically sailboats and in College it was a computerized map-making class that got me interested in computer graphics (CAD) – eventually becoming a career. One of my first side jobs was as an architectural woodwork draftsman. I applied my CAD skills to architectural drawings, corporate interior design, interior space calculations and supervised office builds but I have since returned to manual methods of expression (paints, ink, paper) and not computer based graphics.
