Richard Fanelli is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Art. He practiced for 48 years as an architect in the Washington, DC area and owned a commercial interior planning and design firm for 40 years. Since 2016, Richard has studied under a number of nationally known fine artists specializing in landscape painting and portrait painting. In 2026 he was awarded second place in the juried Mispillion Art Center show in the oils and acrylic category. He recently taught a class for the Milton Arts Guild titled Architectural Perspective in Landscape Painting.
