Shell Flowers Sailor’s Valentine with Kim Brown
Friday May 1, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Learn about the historic art of sailor’s valentines and create a version of your own featuring beautiful flowers crafted from seashells. Your piece will be designed in an 8’ wooden octagon frame on a pearlized-painted background, the traditional shape for sailor’s valentines. Registration fee includes wooden octagonal frame, specialty shells, glue and tools. Feel free to bring your favorite shell(s) to add to your project.
Materials: All materials are included in the cost of the class.
Location: Class will be offered in person, at MAG ArtSpace, 9 Park Street, Milton DE.
Cost: $80 for MAG Members; $90 for nonmembers.
