Richard Fanelli is a fine artist, architect and a graduate of the Philadelphia University of the Arts. He has been an adjunct professor at George Mason University, Mount Vernon College and the International Facility Management Association. Richard has been painting since he was 15 years old and grew up with artist parents who also attended the Philadelphia College of Art. Richard remembers growing up with the smell of oil paint and turpentine in his many painting journeys to art studios with his parents.
In more recent years, Richard has studied landscape painting and portrait painting under well-know professional artists which include Adrienne Wyman, David Lussier, Robert Liberace and Bethanne Kinsella Couple.
Several of Richard’s paintings are part of the permanent collection of the Italian American Museum in Washington, DC. His artwork has also been featured in Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute. He recently won second place in a Mispillion juried art show.
