Mission: The mission of Milton Arts Guild is to promote and support art for all.

Historical Overview

Milton Arts Guild began in 2005 with a group of about 10 artists from the Milton, Delaware area.  Seeing a new opportunity to promote arts in the community, they held their first outdoor art show in the summer of 2005.  As the membership grew, so did the outdoor venue.
Each year artists could be found displaying and painting twice a year thoughout the streets of Milton. In 2010, the first annual Winter Reception and Show premiered at the Milton Firehall. Members began meeting monthly in the WBOC Building until 2014.  A new home was found in 2014 at 310 Walnut Street in Milton.  MAG applied for their non-profit status in 2014 and received their first start-up grant from Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) in 2015. MAG's dedication to bringing arts into the community has grown to an 200+ membership, monthly classes, workshops with nationally and regionally recognized artists, and up to ten (10) exhibitions yearly.  These include 2 judged exhibitions with cash awards, one student exhibition highlighting Cape Henlopen district  students also with cash awards, a fundraising silent auction exhibition, and at the holiday season participation in the Holly Days Festival presented by the Milton Women's Club.

We are proud to sponsor an art scholarship program for senior high school student in Sussex County.  We awarded our first scholarship to deserving seniors in 2015.

In 2021, the Guild moved to its current location at 107 Federal Street, Milton Delaware.
In 2026, MAG expanded to our second location called ArtSpace at 9 Park Street, Milton for classes and group events.
