My art journey began 40 years ago when my mother in law gave me lessons in China painting. A year later I started taking private lessons in water color and loved this medium. I decided to improve my drawing skills and took classes in color pencil, then it was on to oil painting. Acrylic was my next medium of choice where I started incorporating more loose and abstracted styles. My current and favorite style is mixed media with acrylic and collage papers. I love working in layers.
