Art has always been a passion in my life. It started to take form when I drew portraits of other students in high school. After college, I taught Elementary and Preschool. I also was a tutor for dyslexic students. When my husband and I retired, we moved to Lewes, DE. I attended watercolor classes which rekindled my passion for art. Contrasting light and dark colors, using strong values and watching colors flow into interesting combinations excite me. Pet portraits, people portraits, landscapes, still life, etc., are subjects of my work. Another interest is iPhone photography, which, in its form, allows great creativity and portability. I am a member of Milton Arts Guild, Rehoboth Art League, and Coastal Camera Club. I have regularly attended workshops with national and regional Artists. I’ve exhibited and received awards at Milton Arts Guild and Coastal Camera Club.
